Short answer: buy the adapter you can document, not the one with the lowest quote

If you need same-day delivery, a local supplier may beat an online OEM even at a higher unit price. And if your volume is under 25 units, custom OEM labeling usually isn't economical.
Also, certification isn't a guarantee of zero failures. It's evidence that the product met a standard at the time of testing. You still need incoming inspection and a return process. I've had UL-listed adapters fail early—rare, but it happens. The difference is the supplier replaced them without a fight.
