I remember sitting in a review meeting in Q4 2021, defending my decision to defer three training slots. “We have our lead programmer,” I said. “He’s been doing this for years. We can self-train the new guys.” That assumption turned out to be way more expensive than any course.

What I Missed (and What You Might Be Missing)
